Entrepreneur Russell “Rusty” Rahm has built a range of media marketing and direct marketing firms over his three-decade career. Based in Shawnee, Kansas, Rusty Rahm serves as the CEO of Subscription Ink and is a strong supporter of the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce.
Founded just after World War II and accredited by the United States Chamber of Commerce, the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce advocates on behalf of more than 600 area companies, with the goal of improving the growth of the local business community. Among its annual activities, the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce promotes and participates in Small Business Saturday, a national event that encourages patronization of the small businesses and shops at the heart of every community.
On the most recent Small Business Saturday, Shawnee residents enjoyed restaurant specials and boutique shopping discounts as they renewed connections with local merchants. By spending their money locally, customers could feel good about supporting their neighbors and keeping tax dollars within the community.
