Russell “Rusty” Rahm serves as the president and chief executive officer of Subscription Ink, Co. in Shawnee, Kansas. When he is not managing operations at Subscription Ink, Rusty Rahm spends time as a competitive powerboat driver.

In 2016, Team Wake Effects 03 driver Rusty Rahm and throttle man Jeff Harris accomplished the Triple Crown of boat races, one of the most significant achievements for competitive powerboat racers. Team Wake Effects, competing out of Lake of the Ozarks, began the 2016 race season with several dramatic victories, most notably at the National Championship and the Florida Circuit. With these two major wins in tow, Wake Effects arrived at the 35th Annual Super Boat International Offshore World Championships in Key West, Florida.

Forty-three boats competed in the three-day, season-closing race, and while Team Wake Effects ultimately took the powerboat class, the Triple Crown did not come easily. Rahm and Harris dealt with mechanical difficulties on the first day of the race, finishing sixth overall. A second place finish on day two allowed the team to remain in contention on the final day of racing, which saw Wake Effects take first place, the World Championships, and the Triple Crown.
